Payments & Policies

Payment Information:

All payments are due upon receipt/when picking up from our shop and PRIOR TO delivery or shipment.  Delivery or shipment will not occur until payment is received. Once payment is received, items will be delivered on the next scheduled delivery date to your selected drop-off location. Shipment will be arranged the same or the next business day once payment is received and tracking information is sent by email.


Accepted forms of Payment: All major credit cards through Intuit, Paypal, Venmo, Cash, and Checks(there will be a $50 returned check fee) A service fee of 3.5% is added to all invoices to cover online payment fees, this includes Venmo. This fee can be deducted if paying by cash or check.


Late Payment Policy: we will send reminder emails at each time frame.

After 14 days of non-payment, a $5 late fee will be added to your account. 

After 30 days of non-payment, a $10.00 late fee will be added to your account. 

After 60 days of non-payment, a $20.00 late fee will be added to your account.

After 90 days of non-payment, your items will become the property of Shades of Bay Equine Laundry. Your past-due account will be closed and the items will not be delivered. 


Storage Fees: $1 per blanket per day after 30 days. 

We are not a large facility and space is very limited, we do not have the room to keep blankets taking up room on our shelves for months and months. It is your responsibility to pick up your blankets in a timely fashion after we contact you with your invoice.



Drop-Off Locations Policy


We are so thankful for our public drop-off locations! It is important that everyone remembers they are businesses or private farms and not storage facilities. We expect all of our customers to be courteous and timely in dropping off and picking up their blankets. We will let you know a week in advance when we plan to pick up from the locations to give you time to bring your items to the location. Clients will be notified by email with an invoice notifying them that their blankets are done and ready to be delivered back once payment is received. 


Clients are also aware that they run the risk of items being taken/stolen when using the drop-off locations. Shades of Bay Equine Laundry is not liable for missing items once we have dropped them off at the locations.


Any items that SoBEL has delivered to a drop site location that is left for more than 30 days will be picked up by SoBEL and returned to our shop. Storage fees will be applied and you’ll be responsible for picking up your blankets from the shop in Seaford, DE


If you leave your finished items at any drop-off location for more than 30 days you will be put on our three-strike system. After three strikes, we will no longer pick up or deliver your items. You are welcome to continue to use our services, however, you will be expected to bring your items to our shop in Seaford, DE


Any items, regardless of paid or unpaid, left for more than 90 days will become the property of Shades of Bay Equine Laundry!
