Drop-Off Locations Policy

Clients understand there is a risk of loss or theft when using drop-off locations. Shades of Bay Equine Laundry is not responsible for items after delivery to any location.

We appreciate the support of our public drop-off locations. Please keep in mind that these sites are businesses or private farms, not storage facilities. We kindly ask all clients to be prompt and considerate when dropping off or collecting blankets. Notification will be provided in advance of scheduled pick-ups to allow adequate time for drop-off at the designated location. Upon completion of blanket services, clients will receive an invoice by email & text; blankets will be prepared for delivery once payment is confirmed.

Please inform us in advance if you intend to make a drop at one of the designated locations. This helps us plan our routes efficiently and ensures we avoid unnecessary trips to spots without blankets, conserving resources and enabling us to keep our prices stable.

Items delivered by SoBEL to a drop site location that remain uncollected for more than 30 days will be retrieved by SoBEL and returned to our shop. Storage fees will apply, and customers will be responsible for picking up their blankets from our shop in Seaford, DE. 

For finished items left at any drop-off location beyond 30 days, customers will enter our three-strike system; after three occurrences, SoBEL will no longer pick up or deliver your items. Customers may still utilize our services, but all items must thereafter be brought directly to our Seaford, DE, location.

Any items, regardless of paid or unpaid, left for more than 60 days will become the property of Shades of Bay Equine Laundry!
